Chapter one - Soul
The Silence
We awake by the silence and soak in it till night
The silence is our strength more powerful than the light
When the silence is gone light is never seen
But if light is none silence infiltrates our dreams
Never should we sorrow about the things we’ve not heard
It’s the silence in our ears that lends our mind its words
It’s silence that is our friend when the noise invokes its blow
Intending to quiet our spirit with sound that’s never low
It’s only the lack of silence that beckons us to the light
For the light covered by silence is darkened to the night
Rejoice in the silence and taste its delightful flavor
For the silence you all renounce is the silence I favor.

Soul or what I prefer to call entity is the cause of all effect. It is the source energy behind all that is. The soul or entity is of God. Before I set out on this journey to log this most important of information for my daughter and all else who might benefit, I prayed for divine intervention so that I might be able to convey something of what I now know to be the most important truth I have ever been graced to understand. In each of us is the most amazingly divine, intelligently designed force in the universe. More powerful and sophisticated than anything our limited flesh can ever aspire to, let alone imagine.
Call it what you want, it is the part of us most created in our Creator’s image. Contrary to the more popular belief that our human form was made in God’s image, it is our inner being, our aura, our karma, our spirit, our source, our entity, our soul that makes us who we are, children of a most high and loving God (Creator). We previously thought of it as coming from or heart and medical science told us later it was our brains.
Make no mistake, all life, has entity of varying degrees of maturity. This entity is not part of our brain it is spiritual in nature. It is our true essence. It is us, the real us.
Recognize that we were not always advanced enough as a life form to understand the existence of a one true God but it is equally as obvious that it was God’s intention, always, that we would be. This can be said of all living creatures by design and maturity of entity that they may one day be graced by the knowledge of a one true God as well.
Take pride in the fact that of all God’s creation man and man alone remains the only living entity on earth graced by our Creator to acknowledge His existence in our lives. Truly we are the only living beings capable of recognizing God as our Creator.
Our personalities are all simple manifestations of our outer being. Our flesh and our bodies, which have absolutely nothing to do with who or what we are inside, are also manifestations of our outer being. If you can bring yourself to grips with what is written here and understand clearly what is being described for you, you will know “The Truth”.
It will be my intent in this first chapter to give you my best definition in great detail and with the simplest language I can. Know that there have been many books written on this same subject but I hope to explain this in a way that has never been revealed up to date. I think it is time.
I started this book off with the most valuable information I could provide. I know that if my words, as insufficient as they are, can convey just a twinkling of this information to you in a simple and plain language that you cannot mistake, you will continue and retain the entirety of this book and “The Truth”.
You may wonder why I started this chapter, as you will notice with all the remaining chapters, with a poem. I tried to utilize the most significant poem I could from my past to help highlight the most important aspects of each chapter. As you will soon see I have chosen a poem that I wrote in 1990, “The Silence”, for a very key reason. As most poets will testify, silence is of absolute importance in the creative formation of poetry, good or bad. I will even go as far to say, that I know that for myself, though it is not always the case, but quite often the poetry I write, the best poetry, comes from the universal source (inner self) of knowledge and not from me (outer self).
I would be willing to bet that most poets, some writers and song writers would agree that often the words just come to them as though not even passing through their minds first. Make silence a common experience in your life and don’t let what you do or what you want dictate who you are.
Remember, first and always that you are a creature of divine purpose. It is of the utmost importance to reach a very specific point of silence to gain excess to the universal source of knowledge. To do this every fiber of your outer being (body) must be in a relaxed state and your mind must be silenced itself.
There are many different techniques for relaxing one’s mind but I find what works best for me is to lie down and concentrate on my slow and steady breathing. It is also important to know, beforehand, what it is you want to know or understand from the universal source. Start at your toes and focus on relaxing every muscle in your body and let this feeling of relaxation slowly flow all the way up your body to the top or your head paying particular attention to the neck, facial and head muscles. To reach full relaxation it will be necessary to slightly open one’s mouth allowing the jaw muscles to relax.
With eyes closed loosely, concentrate on the void of blackness directly above, while simultaneously listening for the slight hiss of total silence. It is in this moment when you can allow yourself to crossover, for lack of a better word, into your inner world entity. You will have a feeling of euphoria that spreads seemingly from your inner brain outward throughout your body and the void of black space in your mind will open up as though you have crossed through a type of imagined window.
In this state, between sleep and conscious awareness, you will find your answers and the universal source of knowledge. Some people prefer to use yoga, biofeedback or even mild forms of hypnosis as relaxation techniques but these must be taught, first, by professionals.
The universal source of knowledge is not knowledge in the sense that you read, hear, feel, smell or taste it but you understand it to be truth anyway. You see, in our outer world, for something to make sense it has to be understood logically and for something to be understood logically it has to be taken in from our senses to our brain. This must be done in a way that our brain can put it all together with the data that has been previously collected so that it suddenly becomes recognizable to things we already sensed.
This method of collecting data and making sense out of it is very much the opposite of how the universal source of knowledge (God) works through our entity. When our inner spirit (entity) connects with the universal source of knowledge no data is collected. Everything taken in during this connection is simply understood as correct because it is. It is clearly an “illumination of consciousness”. There are no comparisons to sensory data we have previously collected, as happens with our memory in our outside sensory world.
Though I have had many instances of truth revealed to me in this manner, it was during one such experience in my life that I experienced what would become the catalyst for me recognizing this gift of grace in my life. I believe this experience was God’s way of getting me focused enough to write this book. As the poem says, “it is the silence in our ears that lends our mind its words”. So to, you will see that it is the silence that will allow you to make the most amazing discovery you will ever make.
You will take a journey like no other you have taken all with silence. It was the sleeping prophet, Edgar Cayce, himself who said it best, “when we pray silently we speak to God, when we meditate silently, He speaks back”. In essence, while quite a simple expression, this is in the most basic of terms, the way in which entity best interacts with God (the source).
Just as listening is important when you speak to another individual, it is also vitally importance when we meditate. Not in the sense that we try to detect actual sound vibrations entering our ears but more non-verbal communication that simply enters our mind. When it does, we know immediately by its correctness and truth to be of God.
This is by no means the only way in which God reveals Himself to us on a daily basis but it is both the most affective and the most overlooked method for experiencing God’s divine power by His grace. I assure you if you practice this two fold approach of communication with God, no different from the way in which we communicate with someone in everyday life, we talk and we listen, you will find Him and your universal source of knowledge and truth.
In later chapters you will find out more about the detailed workings of the world we feel we live in as evidenced by our five senses and how this world actually relates to the actual world we live in that we have no ability to sense. You will hear things about tiny vibrating strings that are the building blocks of everything including ourselves, the air, the land and the sea. These strings encompass all that we are, we do, we see, we feel, we hear, we smell and we taste and many more things that we do not sense in any way which deal with our entity.
It is important that we understand that soul or entity is the only part of us that can bring about change in our lives. Everything else our mind, our body, our brain is programed to react a specific way to what our outer world senses. This reaction determines whether or not our outer world self is following the prescribed path of our inner world self. If it is, harmony exists. If it is not, chaos ensues.
In essence, entity, in connection with God, (source) is the cause and our outer bodies, in what we think of as the real world, are very much the effect. If we are able to convert our subconscious thought to one patterned more closely to the path so graciously set by our savior, Jesus Christ, we will enable our conscious mind to effect a lasting change in our outer world life.
We are slowly beginning to understand as a people that there is something underlying it all, that there is more to us than we can see, touch, feel, hear and taste. In fact, our true essence, our spirit essence, which has been hidden from the masses of mankind and known in varying degrees by only a handful of people over the centuries.
Many prophets, visionaries, seers, oracles, gurus, preachers, medicine men, rabbis, priests and the like have used this connection to their source, over the centuries, in profound and miraculous ways. The once secret wisdom of these individuals, in foretelling future events, prophesizing the Gospels, guiding the sick into connection with their healing source, using intuition to forecast weather and countless other seemingly divine undertakings, has always been available to me and you and everyone else in this glorious adventure we call ‘life’.
We need only practice and believe. If you do this you too will know this truth. Have you ever been perplexed by indecision?
The difficulty of making a choice you clearly know in your heart of hearts is wrong for you, or for your family, wrong for others and perhaps the world, while the other choice, which always seems much tougher to make, is the glaringly more apparent choice? We all have had these choices and failed to choose correctly. Why? What makes the right choice so apparent but so difficult?
It is our spiritual connection to our Creator that makes the right choice so apparent to us. This universal source of knowledge, this inner connection we have to our Creator is screaming to our entity and all the while we do not hear it because we choose to hear with our ears or our outer being. Instead, we should be listening to our entity or our inner being. Too often our outer being cannot forgive, wants to place blame, cannot take responsibility or simply refuses to surrender. Intuition is our inner being manifested in our outer world reality.
It is important that we understand that our experience as entity is a subconscious one in that as entity we make decisions in life without being aware of it. This is not to say that we can’t begin to understand this inner world decision making process, it is not only possible but, in fact, God’s intention and the reason for me having written this book. After all, inner entity is the true us.
Our outer being, which is a mere reflection of the input data it receives from our five senses, wants immediate answers, immediate feelings, immediate pleasure and immediate emotional response. It does not understand a universal calling to what is correct in our lives, what is best in the long run, what will fit in with the perfect harmonious vibrations that surround all of us in life. We reject what we know inside, as the right choice, as the illogical choice, because it doesn’t make sense to our outer being sensory logic. We have to learn to reject our outer world senses as influencing input to our decision making and learn to trust our inner world subconscious intuition. For it is God’s way of sharing pure truths with our inner entity.
The devil or what I prefer to consider the negative energy of our outer life works with our outer being self. He or it preys or is drawn to what makes our outer-self feel good without any consideration for our inner being or entity. If it feels good, taste good, looks good, sounds good and smells good it must be good. But often it is not and we know this innately. We must find a way to live in entity instead of self.
Entity is not selfish, does not desire, is not jealous, does not hate but only loves and understands through God’s grace. Grace is what Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior gave to us by dying on the cross, thus forgiving us for self (sin). Wasn’t it man’s focus on self that led to his downfall from the Garden of Eden in Genesis, the first Chapter of the bible?
But we never left the Garden of Eden. We just lost our connection to entity, when evolution made us self-aware. This self-awareness is a very recent event in the history of living things. We will learn to grow through it in experience. The only thing our Creator ever asked of us was to not focus on self, but why is this so difficult for us?
Grace is what God gifts to us through entity to forgive us for self and to help us overcome focus on self. When your entity finds the grace of God it will transform your being inner and outer for the better. I will not pretend that all your problems will suddenly disappear but I can promise you that you will begin to recognize them and change your life yourself.
You see part of what we don’t yet all appreciate is that we are solely responsible for our own lives, no one else. We are also responsible for the issues, problems, conflicts, negative feelings, vibes, money issues, pain, suffering, bad relationships, hate, misunderstood concepts and even illnesses. If someone does you wrong in life, mistreats you, disrespects you, cheats you, commits adultery and breaks their commitment to you, this is in no way a failure on your behalf in your outer world.
However, it could indicate a failure in your understanding your inner world self. Though we are all solely responsible for the harm we do to others in outer world the harm that is done to us by others can be avoided by a focus and understanding of our inner world entity. If we are truly in touch with our inner world intuition and understand the true path that we are each asked to follow, we will prevent these types of people and situations from ever affecting our lives to begin with. Doesn’t that make sense? In effect, all pain and suffering is avoidable, including illness.
Yes, we often create our own illnesses. With the stress we bring into our lives by making these wrong choices. Also, the environmental stresses we introduce our bodies to such as drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, wrong food choices and even risky life choices. Life choices we make that risk our physical health or our emotional health are not in harmony with our design. If they are out sync with the way, the truth and the life they will inevitably and eventually lead to our self-destruction. The good news is that we can also help rid ourselves of our own illnesses. Whenever someone’s outer self gets off track, from our true inner self, it affects our outer being.
You can eat right, exercise right, and still be slowly killing yourself simply by not living or following the correct path (Jesus’s path), the only path that fits with our design. The path He created us for. When you do things that slowly kill yourself or harm your design you kill your entity as well. Your machine (your body) will begin to not run correctly at first as your body’s energy fights with the wrong choices you are making in life not unlike bad data input into a computer that creates a virus which slowly affects your whole system.
The same is also true for our own bodies and doesn’t it all make perfect sense that everything we model in our world is a copy of what we have learned about ourselves from our Creator’s design of us. Of course we are like computers. After all, we modeled computers after ourselves. We really don’t know any other way.
Tumble Weed
All the things we will remember best
will hide in golden tumble weed supporting all the rest
Our search for breeze will disdain our ways of wantonness
bethinking in ourselves all that’s weak, exposing life’s success
But it is where the wind will subside and in so our quest
that the tumble of the weed is mellowed to golden nest.
